By having your air conditioner serviced on a regular basis, the unit will perform better and will be more cost effective long-term. Regular servicing will avoid the costly maintenance bills when the systems fails or damages the ceiling of your house.
  
Evaporative coolers require a service every 6-12 months depending on model and year manufactured. Its good practice to have start up’s prior summer and shut down’s prior to winter.
